There is something good to be said about the Bush administration. Most Americans had jobs during his eight years. Obama’s policies like cap and trade and healthcare reform law threatens jobs, as many employers must adjust for the higher insurance premiums and taxes they will pay.

One of the issues the media constantly tried to ding Bush on was underemployment. You don’t hear that coming from the mainstream media much. Undermployment is a condition where the over qualified take lesser jobs that provide part-time work that pays far below what they are qualified to be making. These are jobs that don’t provide a livable wage.

According to the latest Gallup Daily Tracking Poll, while Obama and the Democrats cheer a slow down in job losses in March, underemployment rose for the month by half a percentage bringing the total number of Americans who are underemployed to 20.3 percent, proving even further, this economy is in a real mess and $787 billion in stimulus money didn’t work to improve matters.
